SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.

SASSA will likely be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed with regard to the significant variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The provider issue developed for intervention activities a sassa significant inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to help the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
